Tentativeness is so far from what he's come to expect from this man that its stark contrast is immediately obvious. Charlie's grip shifts, curious, but only for a moment before the man firmly entwines them.

His eyes dart, for a moment, from his horns to the ceiling. Will this guy get too enthusiastic and scuff himself on it? Charlie can't make out any current scratches in the wood, and with heat from the man's voice on his neck, the curiosity fades with a shudder.
His jaw keens into Sherwoods, nuzzling the crown of his head.]
